111 AM CDT WED APR 4 2018 ...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT NORTHWESTERN ST. TAMMANY...SOUTH CENTRAL EAST BATON ROUGE...ASCENSION...NORTHWESTERN ST. JAMES...ST. HELENA...LIVINGSTON...SOUTHEASTERN IBERVILLE... TANGIPAHOA...ASSUMPTION AND WESTERN WASHINGTON PARISHES... SOUTHWESTERN WALTHALL...SOUTHERN PIKE AND SOUTHEASTERN AMITE COUNTIES... At 110 AM CDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Liberty to Montpelier to 10 miles northeast of Charenton. Movement was east at 40 mph. Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail are possible with these storms. Locations impacted include... Baton Rouge, Hammond, Denham Springs, Gonzales, Donaldsonville, Plaquemine, Greensburg, Napoleonville, Amite, Oak Hills Place, St. Gabriel, Ponchatoula, Walker, Amite City, Magnolia, Kentwood, White Castle, Livingston, Independence and Sorrento.
